It’s time for the second review of some of the Seventeen products, and today, it’s all about the lips.
The “All Out Pout” lip palettes contain each 6 colors, that are for the “Fancy Free”:
- Glitter Gloss
- Bubblegum Pink
- Pastel Pink
- Fiery Fuchsia
- Glistening Nude
- Soft Mulberry
In the “Woo Me” palette there are:
- Peach Shimmer
- Knockout Red
- Glossy Grape
- Cool Claret
- Candied Coral
- Metallic Gold
I don’t really know if these can be called lipsticks and I’ll explain you why: they have the consistency of a semi solid lip gloss with its shine and the pigmentation of a lipstick; in fact they have very beautiful and vibrant colors, this is why I decided to do some swatches to fully show you what I’m talking about.
There’s one for every occasion, going from the pinks, to the reds, to the nudes.
The package is always elegant and handy and this palette, like the “Easy On The Eye”, comes with a “get the look” guide and a brush.
I have to say that the little lip brush is perfect to apply the lipsticks and it allows an even and precise result.
Here some tips from the “get the look” guide:
- For longer lasting color, blot your lips after application and then apply a second layer of lipstick – this gives the color more staying power.
- To make the lips appear fuller, dab your clear gloss in the center of your top and bottom lips.
- Apply a second contrasting color on top of your lipstick from the centre outwards for an ombre effect lip look.
I honestly can’t find any down side or flaw to these two palettes: they’re handy, because you can carry them around easily an you can change color throughout the day choosing between 6 beautiful colors; they are very pigmented and moisturizing and it’s affordable too! Each “All Out Pout” palette costs £6.99 and you can buy it online at Boots (“Woo Me” and “Fancy Free”“Fancy Free”).
And yet again I have to say that Seventeen is a really undervalued brand and if you’ve not tried it yet, go buy some products! They are totally worth it.
