Hello! My name is Leigh and I am the writer for the streetsavvybeauty blog- I am here guest blogging with the amazing Samantha on That Lifestyle blog!

My topic today- The cult-beauty product that is Elizabeth Arden Eight Hour Cream has been revamped into an innovative and versatile oil!

Elizabeth Arden’s Eight Hour® All-Over Miracle Oil has a multi-tasking formula allowing you to use it now only for the face but also over the body and even the hair! It’s infused with Tsubaki oil – an ultra-hydrating ingredient that works to deliver long-lasting moisture, revealing radiant and healthy-looking skin with a firmer appearance. It’s proven to provide hydration for 8-12 hours.

“The oil aims to soothe and calm redness and irritation in the skin, whilst combating uneven skin tone to leave you with rejuvenated, comfortable skin on the entire body. Restoring luminous shine, the fast-absorbing oil nourishes and conditions hair from root to tip, helping to eliminate frizz and flyaways for super smooth, sleek results. Can also be used as a massage oil to improve suppleness of skin”.[Arden website.]

The oil can benefit people of all skin types, but is especially great for those with sensitive skin. Included in the formula is grape seed oil, which is the ingredient that helps to soothe and calm red or irritated skin.

This oil does not smell like Eight Hour Cream The Original which is rather surprising, but rather has a really delicate citrus/floral scent which promotes a sense of well-being. I am a big fan if the original Eight Hour Cream so I knew straight away I would love this oil as it’s so much more versatile- you can either spritz directly onto the body, or dispense into the palm of your hand and mixed into other products. It can be used as a body moisturiser, facial oil, cuticle treatment, hand cream, massage oil, hair shine spray, intense overnight mask and probably in so many other ways people have not explored! Like London Beauty Queen quoted in her review- “like the beauty of the Eight Hour Cream before it, half the fun is discovering new benefits.” Check out the video below for some of the key benefits and uses.

How to use:
For the face, mist on a thin layer to clean, dry skin and massage in an upward circular motion. It won’t clog pores, and is light enough for all skin types.
For the body, use it on dry or damp skin. it penetrates deeply, and will lock in moisture for eight to 12 hours. Mist it on after a shower or bath.
For the hair, smooth a light mist onto damp hair, and blow dry, or onto dry hair, in particular to damaged ends.

Thank you for this review! I have dry/sensitive skin and recently been getting into oils in an attempt to really nourish it and improve its appearance. I’m using Kiehl’s Midnight Recovery Concentrate at the moment but would love to give this one a go!
