Easy and Handy Guide for Rio De Janeiro

Last year, during Spring (Spring here in Italy, Autumn in Brasil), I’ve gone to my beloved Brasil on vacation with my mother.
I’ve been there in 2014 but during those weeks I didn’t visit as many places as I wanted to, so this time I had to do it right and wander throughout the city as much as I could.

Although it was Autumn there still were 40°C, so I got a nice tan, went swimming in the ocean, and wore all my Summer outfits – all while sweating as if I were in a sauna.

This is exactly why I recommend you visiting Brasil during Spring and Autumn, when it’s still hot and sunny, but it won’t suffocate you and make you risk instant self-combustion.

THE BEACHES

 COPACABANA

Copacabana beach is definitely the most fun and crowded one – other than the most famous and popular one – and even if it was Autumn is was very very – have I already said VERY? – hot in Rio so I spent a lot of time sunbathing and swimming. One thing to be careful of are the waves, they’re really strong and tall, which doesn’t make swimming very easy but rather quite dangerous if you wander too far off.

Creativity on-the-go: My Brasil Vacation

This year my grandma turned 80 and for this special occasion me and my mom decided to travel across continents and the ocean to go and visit her and our family in Brasil.

My Brazilian heritage is very important to me and I always say that I’m way closer to that side of me rather than to the Italian one. I love Italy and I consider it one of the most stunning countries on earth, but Brasil definitely holds a big part of my heart.
The people, the culture, the music, the food, the places, the art.. I love absolutely everything about it.

While in Brasil I tried to paint, doodle and draw as much as I could – I also had to study but that didn’t go as well as the rest.

A Day Around Croatia – Travel Stories

Now that I got my wifi back – almost an year without it, I’d almost lost all my hope – I can finally share with you a lovely day I spent in Croatia, visiting beautiful towns and as always, eating delicious food.

You may remember that last year I went to Croatia, in the Pag isle exactly, for my Summer holidays and I had some wonderful moments visiting the different beaches and getting to know the local culture.

CHECK OUT: MY DREAMY VACATION TO CROATIA

In April I got the chance to go back to Croatia and visit some other areas: Abbazia, Lovran, Moscenika Draga and Rijeka.

My trip to Milan

On the 4th I went to Milan, a city that I’ve always wanted to visit.

Milan is known for its fashion and for the Duomo, but not everyone know of some little special must-visit places that don’t compare on guides, so I’m going to share with you my itinerary and my experience.

I started my day with an amazing breakfast at California Bakery, which couldn’t be more perfect for me because it’s all American themed.
I’m not talking only about the décor, which is lovely, with baskets hung all around the ceiling; but I’m referring to the food itself.

It’s delicious and you can find any American dish.

I got two brownies and a filtered American coffee, while my boyfriend ordered pancakes with maple syrup and I had to taste those as well – yummy!

My dreamy vacation to Croatia

In August I spent a lovely, beautiful, wonderful week in Novalja (Isle of Pag, Croatia).

I was there with my boyfriend and let me tell you, after a year of university, exams, problems and drama, this vacation was much needed and deserved.

The Isle of Pag is well known for its discos and parties but it’s a perfect place for families and people who just want to relax, too. In fact Novalja is a little city which used to be populated by breeders and fishermen, which obviously still live there, but with time a lot of new building have arose and the city became more popular and worldly.

The thing I loved the most is that wherever you go there’s a breath taking landscape.
